Prepare surfaces by removing all loose scale, rust or other foreign matter in accordance to SSC-SP2 “Hand Tool Cleaning” or SP3 “Power Tool Cleaning”. High pressure water wash of 3,000 to 7,000 psi is also suitable. In severely corrosive environments SSPC-SP6 commercial blast cleaning should be used. The product should be mixed thoroughly prior to application. For brush application a soft bristle brush is recommended
