Tapecoat H35 Tape is a 35 mil tape designed to protect above ground, buried or submerged metal surfaces from corrosion and electrolysis. It is used for coating pipe, pipe joints, fittings, couplings, tanks, pipe type cable, conduit, tie rods, elevator casings and other metal surfaces. Its unique “MAF” (multipolymer alloy film) backing has been specially formulated to provide strength that allows it to be pulled tightly around fittings and other irregular shapes with minimal pull back due to memory. Appropriate for coating small to moderate size pipe with a single layer; a 50% overlap may be preferred when coating larger diameter pipe. Tapecoat H35 Gray is resistant to UV rays, thermal expansion, impact, abrasion and can be applied over a wide range of ambient temperatures.

Tapecoat HT/MB (High Temperature, Mesh Backed) Tape is a 40 mil polypropylene mesh-backed, cold applied, below grade coating designed to provide superior soil stress resistance on pipelines with service temperatures up to 300°F (149°C). The coating provides protection against corrosion and electrolysis on metal substrates. The mesh backing allows the coating to conform well to the pipe surface but does not stretch or elongate giving the HT/MB its exceptional strength against soil stress.
Tapecoat HT/MB must be applied using a 50% minimum overlap and it requires the use of a primer prior to application.

Tapecoat TR Green is 35 mil, cold applied coating designed to provide protection against corrosion and electrolysis on below grade metal substrates. Combined with strong, flexible film backing, Tapecoat TR Green provides a protective coating with cohesive strength and durability that conforms well to irregular shapes.

Tapecoat TR Green has an integrated primer; the primer is in the adhesive. This exclusive formulation allows for faster application as there is no need to apply a separate primer when application temperatures are above 40°F. The Tapecoat TR Green coating system is VOC free when applied without a primer. When used with Tapecoat Omniprime® the coating system will meet even the strictest environmental laws.
